Hybrid cars are common these days. However, that doesn’t mean that all hybrids are created equal. Especially when it comes down to the finer details, that’s where the 2021 Honda Insight comes in.
New for the 2021 model year, the Honda Insight gains blind-spot alert with cross-traffic monitor as standard in the EX and Touring trims. New standard features in the EX also include navigation, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, and more.
What to Expect from the 2021 Honda Insight
The short answer is a lot. Besides classy looks and incredible safety features, which we’ll get to, this Honda model stands out for its performance. Each of the three trim levels features a hybrid gas and electric engine that puts out a respectable 151 horsepower, which also gets you to 60 mph in less than eight seconds. The engine is normally quiet and refined, but drivers in the Parkville area who like a bit of sound will be pleased to hear the engine at higher speeds.
The interior is nicely laid out, and the materials feel polished and upscale. We’re especially big fans of the new volume knob. Speaking of infotainment, we suggest opting for either the EX or the Touring to take advantage of the larger eight-inch infotainment screen that comes with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
