If you love your car like we love our cars, National Car Care Month is a great opportunity to take some time out to give your car some much needed TLC.

Our Honda service department takes National Car Care Month seriously. It gives us time to truly reflect on what’s important to us, and that’s making sure every car is in excellent condition with maintenance or repair.

Brake Check

The brake system is one of the most important parts of a vehicle. It must be kept in great shape or the stopping power of your Honda CR-V or other dependable vehicle can be compromised. Check on them regularly by taking them into our Honda service department for a thorough inspection. We can perform a fluid exchange or brake pad replacement, for example.

Fluid Check

Fluids also undergo normal wear and tear. They should be regularly checked for proper levels and quality. For example, your engine’s oil is a fluid that needs to be replaced on a regular basis. Skipping a regularly scheduled oil change can harm your engine as important components are not being properly lubricated.  Additional fluids we can check include the coolant, power steering, brake, transmission, and windshield washer.

Hose Check

Hoses that run throughout a vehicle transfer important fluids, from engine to fuel tank and many more. Oftentimes, hoses are overlooked when it comes to checking for normal wear and tear. This is unfortunate because hoses are the backbones of the engine’s life system. Wear and tear happens when hoses get brittle and lose elasticity, which causes leaks and decreases engine performance.

This is just a sampling of what we can do for you! We invite you to schedule a service appointment today at Heritage Honda, so we can help you celebrate National Car Care month successfully. We employ factory-trained technicians who will do their best to get you and your car back on the road in the shortest time possible. We hope to see you soon!
