One of the most important things you can buy at a car dealership isn’t the car itself. It’s actually the new car parts you buy that keep that car maintained, running well — and safely — for years after you’ve signed on the dotted line. However, not all car parts are alike, and identifying the correct ones is just the beginning of your car parts questions.
Are OEM parts really any different?
OEM parts come straight from Honda, whereas aftermarket parts come from third-party companies. It's a fact that OEM parts are designed to fit in your specific model, function as intended, and last as long as possible. You can't get that same guarantee from aftermarket components.
Do I need snow tires, or are all-season tires good enough?
In some areas, all-weather tires are sufficient. However, you may decide that snow tires are better suited to handling a long winter. What’s most important is the condition of those tires; make sure they’re rotated and inspected on a regular basis, and that they have good tread depth.
What if you don’t have the parts I need?
It’s rare, but it can happen. If one of our dealerships doesn’t stock a part you need, we’re happy to order it for you and also take care of the installation. That way, you know the part and the installation will be reliable.
