If you're in the market for a new Honda SUV, you probably want one that offers the cargo space that you need. Fortunately, the models available here at Heritage Honda all offer plenty of cargo room. We'll make it easy to find one that works for you and your storage needs.
It's important to know that there are usually two different cargo space ratings for SUVs. There's a number for when the seats are all up, ready to seat people. Then there is the cargo space they offer when the back seats are folded down.
Cargo Room Behind the Last Row
For most of our models, this means the cargo space behind the second row of seating. The 2022 Honda HR-V offers 24.3 cubic feet of cargo room in the back, although that dips slightly to 23.2 cubic feet if you opt for the all-wheel-drive system. Upgrade to the 2021 Honda CR-V to get 39.2 cubic feet of cargo room behind the last row. The hybrid offers slightly less at 33.2 cubic feet.
The unique 2021 Honda Passport offers an incredible 50.5 cubic feet of cargo room behind its second row. The 2022 Honda Pilot gives you 18.5 cubic feet to make use of, but that number will grow dramatically when you put the seats down.
Cargo Room with Seats Folded Down
Fold down the second row of seats and open up even more room for cargo in all of these models. The 2022 Honda HR-V maxes out at 58.8 cubic feet. The 2021 Honda CR-V offers up to 75.8 cubic feet of cargo room. The 2021 Honda Passport impresses with 100.7 cubic feet of available space.
Then there's the 2022 Honda Pilot. Fold down the third row, and you get 55.9 cubic feet of cargo room. Still not enough? Fold down both back rows and you get 109.2 cubic feet of space.
